Naarangi (the Hindi name for 'orange') was first aged in ex-oloroso sherry casks, and then matured for an additional three years in casks which were seasoned with wine and orange peels, producing a whisky with a rather intense note of orange. Bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Lightly toasted oak with orange peel, rich sherry, chocolate and mint. Cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. 

Taste: Coats the mouth with chocolate and cinnamon, and of course there’s the orange notes again, but more of an orange cake this time. Along with black pepper and ginger spice.

Finish: Long and oily with lip-smacking cinnamon.
