The latest release from Ardnamurchan is their first official Cask Strength bottling. Comprised of 50 casks, using 84% peated spirit and 16% unpeated spirit and matured in 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% ex-sherry casks. A total of 12,886 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 58.7%.

Nose: Pear and almond tart, sea salt, wet hessian, flapjacks, sea shells and peppermint tea.

Palate: Fresh ginger, tobacco leaf, integrated peat, orange blossom, salted caramel with great texture.

Finish: Citrus zest lingers with candied fruit and orange oil. Coastal peat and bold barley are balanced by buttery oak and more earthen vanilla.
